Guided Chakra Meditation.

What to Expect during a Chakra Meditation:

Without any expectations, I want you to relax and connect with your body during this chakra meditation. Do not expect too much of yourself if you are new to meditating. It’s okay just to simply imagine, sense, or feel your energy centers. Pay attention to any tingling, sensations, or feelings of brushing or patting motions.

It is common to feel a tingling sensation on the top of the head, as this is the opening of the crown chakra. As I walk you through a protection prayer ritual, relax. There is nothing to be concerned about. as you will be fully spiritually protected throughout this chakra meditation. You may also experience sudden body movements, coughing, or passing gas. This is also quite normal as we are moving energy throughout our body.

In any chakra meditations, you are always guided to start at your base (root) chakra.

Preparation Chakra Meditation 101:

Find a quiet and comfortable place where there will be no interruptions during this chakra meditation. It’s recommended to have a pen and paper to journal your experience after this chakra meditation. Remember to write down any experiences that you may have. Keeping documentation of your self-healing journey is a great practise to adopt.

Once you have found a comfortable spot, either in a sitting or laying down position. Take a few deep breaths until you can let go of any tension or stress. Try to clear your mind as best as you can. It is normal to have lingering thoughts, especially if you are new to meditation. Now let’s start with a breathing exercise. Take nice deep breaths in and slowly exhale everything that no longer serves your highest good.

If you are still feeling tense, let’s try the clenching and releasing exercise. This is where you tense your body for a few moments whilst you take a deep breath in. Now, I want you to imagine any stress, worry, or pain as a black, nasty cloud. On your next exhale, release this black cloud as loudly as you can. Keep repeating this until you feel more at ease.

Chakra Meditation Time:

I’d like you to imagine your feet are firmly planted on the ground. Growing a root system of a gorgeous grand tree. Now feel those roots penetrating deep into the earth’s core. Bringing your energy back to earth and balancing it. Now I’d like you to gently pull on those roots. This will open up your earth star chakra.

I’d like to ask all of our angels, guides, and ancestors to shield us with white and golden loving light. And to be there for us throughout this chakra balancing journey.

Bring your attention to the base of your spine, approximately where your tailbone is. This is your very first chakra  the Root Chakra, the “I am essence.” Which is a known area for your sense of safety and security.

I would like you to imagine a bright red spinning ball. Direct this spinning ball to your root chakra area feel it as it rotates in an easy flowing clockwise direction with each inhale. Now, for a moment, stay present in this beautiful energy flow to ground it.

Now move your attention up your spine into the area below your belly button. This is your second chakra, the sacral chakra, or “I feel essence.” This is the known area for your passion, sexuality, intimacy, money, creativity, and joy.

Feel the bright red spinning ball transform into a vibrant orange spinning light. It is pulsing and rotating in an easy-flowing clockwise direction as it travels up your spine and into your sacral chakra area with each breath you take. Now, for a moment, stay present in this beautiful energy flow to ground it.

Now guide your attention to just above your belly button. This is your third chakra  the Solar Plexus Chakra, the “I do essence.” This is the area where someone feels strong emotions like love, fear, ego, identity, and authenticity.

Now feel the vibrant orange spinning ball transform into a bright yellow spinning light. While it is ascending your spine and entering your solar plexus chakra. It pulsates and rotates smoothly in a clockwise direction. With each and every breath you take. Now, for a few moments, stay present in this beautiful energy flow to ground it.

Now gently bring your attention further up to the centre of your chest, where your heart is. This is your fourth chakra   the heart chakra, or the “I love essence”. This is the area that’s associated with compassion, affection, and love for yourself, and for others.

Feel the sunny yellow spinning ball transform into a soothing green spinning light. While it is ascending your spine and entering your heart chakra area.

As it pulsates and rotates in a smooth clockwise direction.With every breath that you take in. Now stay present in this beautiful energy flow for a few moments, to ground this energy.

Move your attention to your throat area. This is your fifth chakra , the throat chakra, the “I speak essence.” This is the known area of communication, your ability to understand and speak your inner truth.

Now feel the calming green spinning ball transform into a calming blue spinning light. While it’s ascending through the back of your neck and into the throat chakra area.

It pulsates and rotates smoothly in a clockwise direction. With each and every breath you take. Now, for a few moments, stay present in this beautiful energy flow to ground it.

It is perfectly normal to feel the need to swallow, clear your throat, or cough. As this is a common method for clearing this chakra. Before moving on to your third eye chakra, simply ground your energy. (If necessary, pause the recorded meditation.)

Next, move your attention to the space between your eyebrows. This is your sixth chakra ,  the third eye chakra, the “I see essence”. This is the area known for knowledge, reflection, and intuition.

Now feel the calming blue spinning ball transform into a deep indigo light. While it’s making its way up the back of your head and into your third eye chakra area.

It pulsates and rotates smoothly in a clockwise direction. With each and every breath you take. Now, for a few moments, stay present in this beautiful energy flow to ground it.

Now shift your attention to the very top of your head. This is your seventh chakra,  the crown chakra, or “I understand essence.” This is the area where you can connect with the divine, source, or god. Whichever feels more natural to you.

The crown chakra also provides you with a sense of divine power. The recognition and acceptance that you are a soul having a human experience.

Feel the deep indigo light spinning ball transform into a violet/purplish light spinning ball. While it is ascending the back of your head and entering your crown chakra at the top of your head.

It pulsates and rotates smoothly in a clockwise direction. With each and every breath you take. Now, for a few moments, stay present in this beautiful energy flow to ground it.

Now imagine that the violet/purplish spinning light is now shining directly out of the top of your head and into the universe. Continue to breathe deeply and feel that divine connection. Stay present for a few minutes and experience the power of being connected to your higher self as well as the divine, source, or God.

Thank your guides, angels, and ancestors for keeping you safe and guiding you on this journey. Slowly return your attention to your entire body and centering your energy, wiggle your fingers and toes and now gently open your eyes.

After the Experience of the Guided Chakra Meditation:

For this session, write down any experience that you have had with connecting to each chakra. No two meditation sessions are the same. You should feel lighter in your body. If you have a lot of stagnant energy, it would be recommended to do a chakra meditation on a daily basis.
